Short-lived
It's getting bad again
I knew it was getting bad again when I was in my head longer
With every time being harder to bring me back
I knew it was getting bad again
when my heart refused to stop at its allocated breaks
And sighs become a permanent member of my vocabulary
I knew it was bad again when I couldn't look in the mirror
The sight of my reflection repulsed me
I knew it was bad again when I
watched the scale and counted my bites
When I woke up thinking of a quick fix
It's bad again
As I fold my arms and stop reaching out for external comfort
I hope you understand that I lie alone with my demons at night
Because they see how bad it gets and help me push through
I don't know what to say anymore love. This is other worldly
