SYSTEM

 To the Judge:

                          How do you sleep at night?

                          Or do you simply not care that you extinguished a light?

                          Took one of my own

                          Cause you couldn't make a judgement of your own

                          Made me a psycho 

                          Cause you don't have the balls to end this endless cycle

                          Biased on your throne 

                          Cause of this system that's torn.

 To the System:

                           I got to see my fam on their knees

                           With a case so shitty it's not hard to see

                           The pain and helplessness felt is hard to unsee

                           This anger and rage boiling within can channel a sea

                           Do you understand what that does to one's mental state

                           Patriotism that starts to fade  

                          Watching as our family rots in jail

                          With no option to pay bail

                          Cause they are guilty until proven innocent

                          All for sins they didn't commit 

                          I wonder how Jesus can get those forgiven

                          Loud in our laughter 

                          Silent in our suffering 

                          Cause this system doesn't give a happy ever after.
